July Competition date and venue changed

At our our club meeting on Monday 9th July it was decided that the date and venue for our July competition is to be changed.

We were due to visit Fernworthy on Wednesday 18th July but it became clear that Tuesday would be more convenient for most members and, given the fact that it is fishing really well, it was decided we would stay 'at home' at Burrator.

So, officially, the July competition is Tuesday 17th July at Burrator. Only fish caught after 12 noon will count.

Membership of the Burrator Fly Fishers is open to anyone who is genuinely interested in fly fishing. It doesn't matter if you are male or female, old or young, a beginner or an expert. All are welcome. The annual subscription is £17.50 per year. In the first instance contact the Treasurer, Richard Peel, by email at treasurer.bffa@gmail.com He will send you an application form and give you more information about the Association. If you would like to talk to someone in a more general way before deciding whether to join you can contact the Chairman, Linda James , at chairman.bffa@gmail.com

Usually, general correspondence should be sent to the Secretary, at secretary.bffa@gmail.com but, as of January 2019 that role is vacant. Until further notice it might be best to write to the Chairman instead. Additionally, BFFA now has a Facebook page and can be contacted through that.
