Update on Burrator Prices and Fishing for 2012

It is now clear that things will be a little different at Burrator (and a number of other SWLT waters) for this coming season. The newly published South West Lakes Trust booklet for 2012 includes the following:

"This fishery has been upgraded for 2012, along with planned improvements to the anglers’ facilities. Fly fishing only for stocked Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout. Brown trout catch and release only.
"Fishing permits and boat booking will be available online from 1st April. please click on the BOOK NOW button at the top of the page." (that is the SWLT website page).

Membership of the Burrator Fly Fishers is open to anyone who is genuinely interested in fly fishing. It doesn't matter if you are male or female, old or young, a beginner or an expert. All are welcome. The annual subscription is £17.50 per year. In the first instance contact the Treasurer, Richard Peel, by email at treasurer.bffa@gmail.com He will send you an application form and give you more information about the Association. If you would like to talk to someone in a more general way before deciding whether to join you can contact the Chairman, Linda James , at chairman.bffa@gmail.com

Usually, general correspondence should be sent to the Secretary, at secretary.bffa@gmail.com but, as of January 2019 that role is vacant. Until further notice it might be best to write to the Chairman instead. Additionally, BFFA now has a Facebook page and can be contacted through that.
